- I have one tank (50 litres) with a variety of community fish (1 small common pleco, 3 peppered corys, 3 black neon tetras, 1 blue gourami, 1 kribensis, 4 black widow tetras, 1 assassin snail, 1 peacock gobie). I realise that this tank is over crowded but many fish were forced to come from another tank after it broke (long story). It has sand on the bottom with many hoding places for the fish yet no live plants.
