Just want to get everyone's opinions or options on a new canister filter. I am thinking about replacing my Fluval 306 canister filter with something else. I've looked into the SunSun and the Penn Plax Cascade canister filter. Which is better; anyone have either of these canister filters? Thank you!

A ranchu goldfish and it's been shipped out today and arriving tomorrow. Coming from Southern California traveling up to Northern California. Packed in an insulated box with an ice pack.

I have the intake and output on opposite sides now. I'm now trying to figure out the best placement for the HOB filter. Any suggestions? I'm currently at work and not able to post a picture of the tank. The tank is a shape of a triangle but with a curved front.
