- I have a 10 gallon filtered, cycled and heated (77 degrees F) tank that is home to 1 male Betta and 2 Anubias Plants and 1 Java Fern. My ammonia and Nitrite stay at 0, but I have to keep a careful eye on my Nitrates as my tap water has Nitrates already. My Ph is 7.4. I perform weekly 30% water changes and feed my plants with Excel and Flourish 2x per week. My Betta eats Omega Betta Buffet flakes and frozen Brine Shrimp with Garlic Guard.
