This unit is necessary for saltwater to add in my system? Because, I have one build in my canister filter, I want to get off this filter for descreasing nitrite and nitrate.

you' re right as you said, that is my storage container is not clean. After I cleaned it and dry, I did setup again and an amonia is 0 right now. You're the man, thanks for your help.

sorry, I had a miss- spelling, that's correct " instant ocean" salt.

I tested on fresh water from RO/ DI and Amonia is 0

I haven't test without salt, that result is after I added salt and ran.

I am using RO/DI filter to mix with Ocean Salt brand and I let it run for 2 days. Then, I used the test kit to test the water and they are. PH = 8.4 Amonia= 0.50 No2= 0 NO3 = 0 I don't know why, an amonia is 0.50 Anyone can tell and help me to solve out this problem. I am newbie, Thanks.

My tank size 75galon, I do have Sump and PWC every week for 10% Triangle Trriger, Humma Trigger, Niger Trigger, Lion Fish, Yellow Tang, Safin Tang, Emperor Angle, Clown Fish, Group Blue Dot and Fiji Fox-face.

I am Newbie, My nitrate (NO3) in SW is going up very high, Which is about 80 or more. Any one have any exprience or any good advide to help me to get out this problem...Please. PH = 8.2 Amonia = 0 NO2 = 0 NO3 = 80 salinity = 1.25
