Posting pics in Threads and PM's

Seems like a lot of features have been disabled in the past year and was wondering what is going on? I can't up load pics to threads or PM's it says it has been disabled by a forum admin. Also I can no longer post in the WTB/FS/ROAK section. Wondering if this can be corrected? -James

New 29 Gallon Build - Journal

Does anyone know if Darwf Gourami's can be really agressive? I have a what I believe to be a serious bully in my tank and it has only been happening since I added the Gourami. I have had Harlequin Rasbora's go missing and turn up dead. All missing either part of their tail fin or all of it. I...

New 29 Gallon Build - Journal

Hey all haven't posted in a while but thought I'd give an update and try to get back into a more regular posting schedule. The tank had been doing really well and has gone through a few rescapes plant wise. Growing a lot of what seems like slow growers now but looking forward to getting them...

Best 5/10 gal tank/filter/heater for my Crown Tail Betta?

I got my 29g from Petco when they had their $1 per gallon sale and no problems so far (knocking on wood). Seems like a well built tank but I would do a visual inspection upon buying any brand tank. Looking for air bubbles in seals, chips on corners, or scratches in the glass.

Best 5/10 gal tank/filter/heater for my Crown Tail Betta?

Hey Bill apologies for the long reply time. Had a few things in the family to take care of but the Hydor 50w should be a pretty good choice. I've really liked my Hydor 150w on my 29g tank. Not totally sure if the Tetra from Walmart is of lower quality but i can say when I first got into the...

Best 5/10 gal tank/filter/heater for my Crown Tail Betta?

Welcome to the community Bill. I have really liked my Aqueon 50w on my 10g along with my Hydor 150w on my 29g. The Hydor might be a tad more accurate but they are both good heaters in my opinion. I'm running a AquaClear 30 on my 10g turned halfway back and love it. You could probably get away...

New 29 Gallon Build - Journal

Did my weekly 50% water change last night along with dosing ferts again. I have started dosing ferts twice a week now and the Java Fern has seemed to really appreciate it. Also I have now removed all the Temple Compacta plants from the tank. Trimmed and replanted some of the Mudwort.

    10g Planted Tank Build Journal

Did another treatment of hydrogen peroxide last night, waited an hour, then did a 95% water change. Good news is I haven't seen any of the little white creatures since last night. Made sure to unplug the filter before adding hydrogen peroxide though. Hopefully this is almost the end of the...

    10g Planted Tank Build Journal

So this evening I did a massive 95+% water change. Before the water change I unplugged the filter dosed the tank with 12oz of hydrogen peroxide roughly about 1-1.2oz per gallon to see if I could treat these pesky little creatures. Unplugged the filter so the hydrogen peroxide wouldn't get into...
