FS: 2 Ocellaris Clowns and 1 Coral Beauty (Balto, MD)

I definitely have test kids, a HUGE container of salt (Instant Ocean I think), a nice heater, and some carbon filters/packets....that might be all that's worth mentioning.

FS: 2 Ocellaris Clowns and 1 Coral Beauty (Balto, MD)

I'd like to find someone to take all three, and I'd at least prefer not to split up the clown pair... but I'll take your offer into consideration if no one else is interested. Maybe we could each drive half way on a Saturday... Jeff

FS: 2 Ocellaris Clowns and 1 Coral Beauty (Balto, MD)

Sorry for the crappy pictures - it's all I have available right now. The coral beauty and one ocellaris are probably two inches long each, and the other ocellaris is probably 1 inch long.

FS: 2 Ocellaris Clowns and 1 Coral Beauty (Balto, MD)

Heya folks, Unfortunately due to some home construction and a pending move, I need to get rid of these fish. Instead of giving em back to the fish store I'd like to get em to an AA'er if possible. One of the clowns is pretty old - maybe 4+ years. The other clown and the Coral Beauty I got...

    Nitrate drop?

Can you recommend one? I have an OLD Deep Six Hydrometer and I'm just not sure it's giving me accurate readings. Is this one or the Instant Ocean Hydrometer any good? Or do I really need a refractometer to get accurate readings? Thanks, Jeff

    My Blue Mandarin!!!

I went snorkeling on a reef (Pennekamp State Park, Key Largo, FL) for the first time in my life back in February. Having had a marine tank for 1.5 years made me quite interested to see everything out there in the wild. It was incredible - lots of great fish and corals. Just beautiful...

    Found worms :S

My 29g used to be overrun with bristleworms. Women who saw them usually thought they were creepy, but I didn't mind them at all - they were fun to watch crawl around. One LFS guy said to get rid of em because they would eat my sleeping fish, but I never had a problem (only have 2 clowns in the...

    Lighting Problem

Thanks for the reply. I think I'm just going to get a new fixture. It's my understanding that the PC fixtures/bulbs are more efficient per watt, but since they put out more watts it would still be more energy used...is this correct? Thanks, Jeff

    Lighting Problem

Heya folks, I have a 30g marine tank - have a Perfecto-style fluorescent fixture...I inherited it from the tank's pervious owner and it's probably at least 5 if not 8-10 years old. I replaced the starter recently, and also got a new bulb a couple months back. I got a VHO bulb (Power-Glo) -...

Am i using correct procedure to add water to SW tank?

I guess I'm just used to my tank - I change the water often enough that I really don't get too much evaporation, and since I take some (salt) water out before I add new water in, I need to put back in water that is at least a bit salty. I just manage the specific gravity in the existing vs. new...

Am i using correct procedure to add water to SW tank?

It seems to me there should be some more steps in here... First, how can anyone say whether he should be adding salt or not? He needs to check his specific gravity and figure out what he needs to do...if the salinity in his tank is a little up, then you might add water with salt but maybe not...
