    Fin rot?

Yeah they're not smooth at all, definitely not good for a betta so I've learned. His fins weren't all that bad, just a little ragged at the ends and the medicine worked for that

    Fin rot?

My betta Ivory recently had fin rot probably from the rocks I use in his 10g. As soon as I noticed it I quarantined him and used BettaFix which I bought at the pet store. It's a daily dose for a week straight then you do a water change. However, after the week was done he looked alot better, so...

    goldfish show off.

I find it so interesting that you all took such great photos of your goldfish! I've been trying to get pics of my Shubunkin and Comets, but they just swim by so fast that the picture is just a blur! :fish2: But, nonetheless, I will keep trying! Great pics everyone!:thumb:

What did you name your fish?

I have 5 black neon tetras named Bilbo, Frodo, Sam, Pippin, and Mary (we can never distinguish them all haha) along with 2 black redtailed variatus. Seeking goldfish food that sinks

My three goldfish have recently been moved to a 45g tank that's a lot taller than the previous one. Having said that, they spend most of their time on the bottom of the tank. I'm looking for a type of goldfish food that sinks rather than floats on the surface. Any suggestions?

What Made You Want A Freshwater Aquarium?

Ever since I was little I've always been fond of fish. My dad has been a fish hobbyist as well, saltwater though, and I've always been interested in getting my own when I was older. In middle school, I raised quite a few Bettas, not sure why but I just love them so much. Now, in college, I have...

Hi all, I'm a new member to this site, but have visited so frequently especially since I recently set up a new 45g tank! There's lots of useful information I found, so maybe one day I'll post a question regarding my own tanks. Best of luck to you all!:fish2:
