    Bristle worm...good guy or bad?

i agree- bebeficial. I would remove one if it was say 4-5" long but other than that i would leave it alone. Things are there for a reason.

White oil like on top of water?????

it is most prob organics and stuff floating to the surface. The danger here is it will inhibit oxygen exchange and in extreme cases can change the spectrum of lighting passing through it. You can easily get rid of it with an overflow box or by directing a powerhead at the surface at an angle.

I need some info on my Xenia

Agreed, it is just upset. How did you acclimate it? Trust me once it recovers in a few days it grows like a weed. You'll need to start reading up on how to cut it back.

    Red slime algae

Reefrunner covered it, if you can measure any inorganic phosphate then rest assured your organic phosphates are considerably higher. You might try a phosphate sponge, but i think you will not get rid of this problem until you go with RO/DI water. HTH

4 Stripe damsel ok with this?

If you are considering a damsel later on and some clowns, I would add the clowns first and let them get settled and then add the damsel. Another thing you can do is move some rocks around to break up their "home turf". Thats puts everyone on an even playing field.
