I already purchased an aqueon 5575 on amazon. It has a good floe rate and two deep spaces for media. How many pounds of live rock would it take to seed dry rock?

No. Just pool filter sand.

Great advice. I would have never thought to do that. I'm wondering if I should get a small power head to put on the opposite side of the aquarium facing the live rock to prevent dead spots?

That's pretty sweet then. So a little off topic but I have been researching livestock for the tank and I am confused about flame angels. I would like to have one as the center attraction in my tank but some sites say 70 gallons minimum while others say 30. Anyone have any thoughts?

I've heard of purigen. I was wanting to add some additional filtration to my aqueon 5575 but I didn't know if I should get a bag of that or some bio balls/ rings?
