Yeah idk we just got him today so we have him in our QT tank for now I'm just trying to figure out if he's safe don put in my big tank or if we need to find him another home

Its a salt water fish so I don't think it's an Oscar and if it was a damsel what kind because it's a pretty big fish

Hi all we've been looking into setting up a 75 gallon tank for saltwater. My question is what's the difference in saltwater and reef?? Also what do you feel is a better choice?? Thanks for any and all answers :)
I'm ok with the shrimp thing and the glass cats were a gift we had five and were down to one I wont be buying anymore simply because they did way to easily but thanks for your advice :)
My tank is set up like this. 55 gallon
2 violet a.k.a. dragon gobys
1 rainbow shark
2 plecos ( once they get bigger I understand we'll have to get rid of them.)
2 African clawed frogs(same as plecos)
2 Sunburst platys
3 zebra danios
1 glass catfish
And a whole bunch of ghost shrimp and now my...
I use prime as well and the tank is fully cycled. I use the API freshwater test kit p.h. 7.6 amonina and nitrites 0 and nitrates at 10-15 its a 55 gallons and we do pwc once a week anywhere between 25-50%

Well he was actually really small and when we took him put the smell was terrible and he was just hanging out of the shell. So we know he was dead just no idea why :(
