    Yeah I am going to return the domino today.....he is already big, and i dont want the aggression in the tank plus i noticed this morning a few white spots on him, so i netted him and going to bring him to the fish store..... Maybe it stressed him moving him from the 55 tank

    Ok...So I took my 50 lbs rock and put it in my 30 gallon tank along with my domino damsel......my 55 is going back to fresh water....Any ideas for a couple of tank mates???? preffeably reef compatible fish because I may upgrade the lighting and make it a reef tank.....

    150 filtration????

    Any recomendations for filtering a 150 gallon tank that will be home to south american cichlids....The local fish store suggested the rena canister that is rated for a 175 gallon.....I think I should also use a HOB such as the emperer 400 with biowheels........Would these 2 filters be enough...

    First ever post and first ever tank.

    I only change about 5 gallons a week in my 55...... 40 and 55 gallons are actually small for saltwater systems, and i think that changing more than 10 percent a week could be too stressful on the fish.... like too much flucuation in ph, or other things.....and if your throwing tap water in...

    I see your point, but i've used my domino damsel to cycly my first 29 gallon, then my 55 gallon, and he's going to cylce my 150 also....he is the biggest healthiest damsel i've ever seen at almost 4 inches.... At that time i was told to start with a damselfish, Nobody told me about fishless...
