    algae problem

    My advice would be to look into Pleco's and Ottocinclus fish. They eat algae but you may need to research what kinds they eat.

    A list of Brackish fish

    One thing you can do is go to the local fish store and ask to see the brakkish aquariums and see the different types of fish in there. One new brakkish fish appearing in every fish store right now is Glo-Fish. Also red claw and fiddler crabs live in brakkish conditions. Good luck.
