I'm using the marineland Reef capable Led lights. All I have in the tank right now is green stripe mushrooms and finger leathers, and the green star polyp but everthing is doing great. I paid $250 for 36in on amazon back in December.

Updated scaping. With this set up It allowed me to always add addition LR in front of my current rock. I checked out those fish, my tank is too small for them unfortunately. I like the bat fish though!

Thanks, I changed the scaping entirely recently. I put in some green star polyps, green stripe mushrooms and some finger leathers... Live stock I have NO Idea. I haven't researched many fish for my size tank that are reef safe. I like the angler fish but I read it's aggressive towards anything...

Well I rearranged my LR while cleaning up some bubble algae and noticed this on the bottom of one of the rocks. Was squishy like like Styrofoam but felt like a sponge.

I was given this free from a friend of a family, a hydrotech 1240 reverse osmosis system. She paid like $900 to installed then got a whole house filtration that came with another unit so she gave me this. Will this be provide good water for topping off my tank?

I was wondering the same thing about corals and Ro/di systems. With the tank already filled up, could i save money and simply use an RO unit for water changes?

This is what I have been doing when I have gotten around to it. What I find works really well is a turkey baster and tweezers. If i can get to the base of it i pinch it off and pull it out. If not I pinch/suck it up at the same time and let the crab finish off what remains on the rock. If its a...

The first is the see thu flowing guy and whats that other strange looking thing above it that looks like broken teeth lol When i turn the moon lights on it glows like it has something inside it. Forgot the photo just edited the post from before. Anyone know what that translucent guy is?

Wow THANK YOU. they were starting to scare me. All i could think was they were some alien life form hiding in my rock trying to luring things in. They kinda reminding me of the worm in the sand from star wars with jabba the hut lol.
