- I have a turtle tank/terrarium 50 gallon with about 47 48 gallons of water the basking platforms set on a timer with all the lights both heat uvb and tank uvb 12 hours a day the heat is at 87 90 degrees I have a painted turtle and a pleco and feeder fish
