I would clean the first filter out everyday and see how much thats taking it out and if that doesnt work do 20% water changes every week. Let me know how you get on.

i had this when i had my 30G FW but mine was PH Buffer. Have you used that? If not i would keep washing out your first filter, it should be catching all of the milkiness in the water and slowly get rid of it and keep doing PWC. Hope that helps.

I dont know why you would want barbs? They are schooling fish you should at least have 10 or more not 2. They might look good in the setup but they are unpredictable. I would get more neon tetras they look great in large schools and they're bio-load is tiny. Any pics?

Just add saltwater because the RO unit will remove all the TDS - total dissolved solids, which are harmful to fish.

I couldn't go to a 6' I'm pushing it with the tank I have planned. I only plan on having 1 regal tang in the tang department (small). What's the growth rate? It can't be the biggest crime to do that? .......but what do I know?

Ok. If a suction cup fails, I know this is going to sound weird but could you glue to the window? I dont think I would want magnets on the side of my tank or do they not look that bad? Pic? Is there a different flow with 2? Thanks Jon
