No there can never be to many bubbles as long as the fish aren't dieing or acting strange

I siphon 40% every week I siphon 70% a month if it needs it I do water testing every week scrape algae of when ever I can to try and stop the algae growth

Boil it for 15 to 25 min if you really want to not have trouble with the rocks go boiling bubbling water for 30 min that's what u do get the dirt out every time. Do 30 just to be safe
