I have a fire tack ell and i just got it caz it wass cool so i got it but i never get to se t that why i was some cool fish that actualy swim around together n stuff i just rrlly dont like tetras n fish like that they not interesting at all

I had a hi fin pleco n it died in 2 days idk if it was my water or because I found it sucked on the filter looked like his fin was stuck in there , what is a good pleco for a 40 gallon that does good clean up?

No I shake it. Know but I have a feeling I might be done does my nitrite necessarily need to be very very high or can it just be that my ammonia left And gave me a nitrite of like .50 or 1 and also my nitrate is maybe around 40 so I'm just about to do a 50% water change and that's all I guess

For anyone that's been following what happen was , last nite I boosted my ammonia to 4 ppm and within a day my ammonia went to zero and nitrite to 1 and also a 30 nitrite , so idk what that means I read that in order for this to have been completed my ammonia need to be gone and I need to have a...

Yes u are correct it went from 1 to 0 so I checked my ammonia levels thinkin maybe my ammonia is down n it was wayyyyy down so I added ammonia back to 4 ppm

I don't think it converter because my nitrite wasn't high enough to be converted I read that ur nitrite need to be high really high in order to conver to nitrate
