    Our fish came down with ICH. We just noticed when we came home this evening, so we'll have to wait until the morning to get medication. We have lowered our salinity to 1.017 and raised our temp to 82, in hopes to help them through the night. We are looking at treating the main tank directly...

    EEP! Help!

    Agree - I don't have a lot of experience, but I did have 4 damsels alone in my 55 gal tank, 3 of them went against the smallest one, which died in 3 days, then of the remaining 3, 2 of them got together and killed the 3rd one, and so on, until I returned the last one to the LFS... Damsels are mean.

    Hi - I have some "newbie" questions - why would you not suggest horseshoe crabs? and could any of these snails/crabs survive with a trigger in the tank? Thanks!

    Thanks fishfreek - that's what I was afraid of. In your opinion, since I now have the grouper, lion and trigger (with 5 snails + 4 hermits and 1 conch - which we're prepared to lose any day our fishies get the munchies) should we even consider adding another fish? We would really like to get...

    Hi all - I have a 55 gall tank with a 2 inch volitan lion, a 1 inch clown trigger and a 2 inch panther grouper. I would like to get a small snowflake (LFS recommended 6 inch?) and a 1 to 2 inch queen angel. I have been reading about the recommended 5 gall/ fish inch, which would be about 11"...
