I had a little heart attack this morning because Chuck was up by the filter & not moving AT ALL. I even poked him & not a budge out of him. I was devastated! I went to tell the hubby & came back & there was Chuck over the other side of the tank swimming away grand! [mod edit]...
Thanks Dwayne! I know what you mean about the small water changes but its all I can do between now & the weekend. I'm off for a few days then & will do a succession of big water changes as you recommeded. All the other fish seem perfect so hopefully all will be well :-)
Thanks so much guys. The Turquoise wasn't bloated but as you said the Nitrates are quite high so could have played a factor. I will continue with the small water changes & do a proper job on it on Saturday. I tried some peas tonight. I don't know if she got any herself but I'll try some more...

Hi all. I posted this the other day so apologies for posting again - I'm just so worried! One of my Giant Danio is, as you can see, very bloated. Her scales are sticking out & while she can swim around perfectly when she wants to she spends the majority of her time at the very top of the tank...
Anyone got any ideas? She was super active last night - definitely not in any way lethargic. I'm concerned my other Danio seems to be getting bloated now! All the other breeds seem fine though...
