Currently I have 15 Cardinals, 5 tri-color (Koi) swords, and 5 assorted platties... But the tank looks empty. I was thinking maybe a school of 15 Rummy Nose. But then I was thinking maybe just a couple of Blue Rams... I don't know. What do you all think I should put in there?
Heaters: I second every person on here. Put two 200w+ heaters in there.
Filters: AC 110's are AWESOME filters, and you are over filtering your tank, which I do as well :) They say to turn your tank over 3 times an hour. 125 gallons x 3 = 375 gallons an hour. Your AC 110's are pushing 1000g...
Once the fry are free swimming you should remove the parents to a separate tank. For some reason the fry will start to eat the sides of the parents when they are a few weeks old.
Just for clarification, everyone on this thread understands that Gorilla now makes "Super Glue" correct? We aren't talking about the original Gorilla Glue.

55 Gallon tank
X 8 lbs per gallon

440 lb tub of water + fish?!
I would get a few(2-3) 5 gallon buckets, fill them with tank water until they are about 2-3 inches from the top then split your stock into them. Home Depot has really nice orange...
No, the conditioner simply makes your tap water safe for the tank by removing hard metals and Chlorine. You need to add an ammonia source. I would suggest either buying a bottle of ammonia, dropping a little food in the tank, or buying 2-3 fish to start. BUT in ALL of these you will need to...
Run the Python out the door and hook it up to a garden hose for better suction... I had to play with it for a bit so I stopped sucking the gravel out of my tank though! Then I hook it up to my sink to fill the tanks again, and just wait because my water pressure sucks too! Hope that helps :)
Angels are Chiclids, and their natural snack food is tetras... I would FEAR for the lives of your Rummies and other small fish if you put them in there. However your tank is plenty large enough for 2-4 Angels. They aren't very hard to keep at all. Pretty fish but not very active. If they...
Depending on how your tank is stocked, pushing 30ppm on Nitrate is a good time for PWC. I try to get mine under 30 but I have it WELL stocked. Brown algae is ugly, but to the best of my knowledge it not in any way harmful. Turn down the lights (or fewer hours on during the day) until it dies...
