Have you ever heard of a fish having a vitamin B deficiency? I’ve been feeding them sparingly because of how much I’ve been away from home and am wondering if they are deficient. Apparently is causes paralysis and neurological issues
No its my “display” tank. Nothing goes in the tank but prime. I treated all the fish for columnaris extensively before my display tank was cycled. I gradually added the fish. Its been stable the whole time
Columnaris i think, it eats flesh. Looks like her flesh is being eaten away. Columnaris has a LOT of different symptoms. I had a lot of sudden fish death and weird unrelated symptoms in my fish for a while before i figured it out and treated them for it. Watch Norman’s video on Columnaris in...
Yes paralyzed. Not clamped fins, they are rigidly fanned out (guppies). Not dead, they are breathing.
I have a 29g well established tank. Amm=0, nitrite=0, nitrates= 5ppm. I tested the pH and hardness to see if there was a possible ph swing. Nope. Temp is stable. Trust me i check on these fish...
i ended up learning to use a sulfa based medicine as directed and if fish keep getting ill to use antibiotic, then i'd need to cycle my tank again. i have a hospital tank going but I'm worried all the fish in the main tank are already infected/ exposed to the bacteria. so I'm going to treat the...

I have a few fry that are about 5 weeks old. Just started getting their color. One of them seems deflated and theres a lump coming out of him, looks like his organs
1) how the heck?
2) do i euthanize? He looks like he’s in pain
Okay yikes. He is a tux but not a cobra. He is so disinterested in the other one. Its hard to watch. Ill move them to a different tank until i can get more females and see how they do. I’m getting a 30gal this month and plan on letting the guppies i have move to that one . Then i want to make my...
I have a ten gallon tank with 2 female guppies and a male. I'm worried about one of them. actually both of them for different reasons.
1) the male only bothers female 1. constantly. i am worried it will stress her out or kill her. he is relentless!
2) female 2's last litter was premature and...
