The flowerhorn will get too big for that tank!! They get huge so a 56g wont work unless you get the more smaller mix versions like the Bonsai Flowerhorn but a regular one will need 120+. For tankmates i would suggest Plecos, nothing else would work and would most likely get killed.

What about a single tiger oscar

I agree if you could get a 29g that would give a lot more options! You could do maybe an Electric Blue Acara they get like 5in or so. By any chance could you get a 40b, that would provide a bunch of options and more room!

Community tanks are always amazing! You could do African Cichlids, Large fish or maybe a giant nano tank!!! How many gallons is it? What are the full dimensions? Length, height and width? Also are you planning live or artificial plants?

Usually most cichlids even dwarfs aren't shrimp safe, it may be a risk like a betta. No amanos will probably be a meal to him. But I could be wrong, but from my expierence, when I had a female and male gbr, they didn't survive, they ate my shrimp I had in their...... sad story. :(
