    Oscar newby

Oscars are very messy and consider playful. They are called water dogs because of their personality. I would do either a bare bottom tank or rocks (Gravel) because the oscar would make a mess with sand. Live plants wouldnt work so you would have to do silk woth a weighted base and they need a...

    Flowerhorn tankmates

The flowerhorn will get too big for that tank!! They get huge so a 56g wont work unless you get the more smaller mix versions like the Bonsai Flowerhorn but a regular one will need 120+. For tankmates i would suggest Plecos, nothing else would work and would most likely get killed.

    20 Gallon Tank!

I agree if you could get a 29g that would give a lot more options! You could do maybe an Electric Blue Acara they get like 5in or so. By any chance could you get a 40b, that would provide a bunch of options and more room!

    Community predators

Not familiar with eel tail catfish but I do know they reach 3ft or so, you will need to provide more dimensions like the height and width. Here's some cichlids that might work Serverums Dwarf Cichlids Acara's Angel's Firemouths Rainbow cichlids (Not africans!) Keyhole Cichlids Eartheaters...

    Are these fish shrimp safe?

Usually most cichlids even dwarfs aren't shrimp safe, it may be a risk like a betta. No amanos will probably be a meal to him. But I could be wrong, but from my expierence, when I had a female and male gbr, they didn't survive, they ate my shrimp I had in their...... sad story. :(

The ram would eat the shrimp, Colombians I'm not sure if they would, the guppy and Glowlight wont hurt them
