The description under the tank he was in said he would need to be in at 29 gal But angels are what I was thinking about getting, but i haven been able to find any where their fins havent been torn and bitten off.. :/ How big to angel fish get?

I dont know yet, i have 4 tanks, just got a 37 gal, i havent gotten any decorations or fish for it yet but i did put water in it and have been treating it, i want some fish that swim at most levels of the tank, but i havent really figured out what i want to put in it yet

Haha no, trying to make them better instead of giving up on snails makes you a good snail mom. It is good to throw them an algae wafer or something besides just the tank algae every once in a while though. Not every day, I have some catfish and i feed them the sinking shrimp pellets and my snail...

I havent bought it yet, i wanted to make sure it could get along with other fish first, if it cant then I might just get different fish that can be in the same tank together.

I had a chipped tank once, water was leaking, and I had my moms boyfriend seal it with silicone and let it dry for a week. And now the tank doesnt leak at all and ive had fish in it for about two months with no problems. I dont know if the chip that you have would be different, but you could try it.

I dont mind waiting, :) also when should i be able to put them back in the tank with their parents?

I saw this fish the other day and thought he was beautiful, he's an electric blue african cichlid. If I got this fish would I be able to put any other fish with him, or would he be too aggressive?

Have 13 baby guppies, 12 of them were born on fathers day and the other was born several weeks before that. The mom has black spot on her tail and the dad had an orange tail with yellow on him. The babies are in a ten gallon by them selves (plus a yellow mystery snail) I feed them first bites...

You could try giving it a tums tablet. They've got lots of calcium... But put it in a seperate bowl with water from your tank and put the snail in it, snails love them. Other than that I dont know what else could help, I wish you luck with your snail though! Hope it gets better

Make sure the pH level is above 7.0, and add some calcium and see if that doesnt help. I read somewhere that if a snails shell is seriously eroded then there is not a big chance of saving it. But if its minor then by adding calcium And fixing the pH they should heal up

You can feed them algae wafers or lettuce, what kind of fish are they in with?
