Over a week ago i bought a blue regal tang and a yellow tang. We put the regal tang in first on a sat and then sunday we bought a yellow tang and put him in, all was ok untill 2 days later both tangs started fighting and the blue tang got white spot. Now i dont have a lot of exsperience with SW...

lol that is a lot of algae. Im lucky i dont really get a problem with algae. When we first started our SW tank it was a real problem but we was told its part of the tank getting astablished,but it soon went away. We still get the odd patch on the sand and rock but i think its a good thing...

Could it be the fact that they used tap water instead of RO water? im not sure but i thought may be this could be the reason.

Thats great advice thanx. Just one more thing how long do yellow tangs live for and can you get nori ( green seaweed ) cheaper anywhere else other than LFS.
