My Tanks
Started my first aquarium when I was 29. It was a 55 gallon tank filled with fish that never should have been housed in such a small tank. Got horrible advice from Petsmart employees. Cycled it with two tinfoil barbs that I ended up donating to a local fishery as they grew quite enormous. About 2 years ago I lost my favorite fish. He was a fully grown gold Severum I had named Roger. He was such a cool fish, he even let me hand feed him and he knew me as soon as I came into a room. I hope he died of old age as he was at least 4 or 5 years old when I got him. But it really upset me. Right around that time we were still in the middle of a huge financial hardship so I ended up selling everything as everyone here surely knows, this is not an inexpensive hobby.
