JUst finished concrete/styro background n want to seal it. Saw a couple people on YouTube use it and wanted to get yalls opinion. Not much info online other than those couple people.

Yeah that sucker ain't goin no where lol I'm really happy with how it turned out. Just ready to let the turtles enjoy it :) gonna try a couple more water changes in the mornin to get the ph down. Thanks again :)

Got it all set up and cycling :) tested water yesterday and ph was at 7.0 but tested just now and it's off the charts. Is that because of the concrete?

Took down my 30 gallon turtle tank in anticipation of the completion of my new 55 gallon with custom 3d background! Sooo excited!!!!!

Looks awesome!! So mad I'm just now seein this :( my background I did all out of styro and this looks so much easier, and cooler! :) can't wait to see it done!

Put it on thick and when it dried I picked it up and some small cracks appeared. I'll just wait till I install and patch it up.

The concrete is cracking is that gonna be a problem. My bf is sayin we need to patch it with silicone

Lol it's ok :) just wanna get it fully set up fast! A garage would really come in handy right now lol cause I don't think mixing and painting concrete would work out in the rain! :(

Oh I was talking water wise. How long does it usually take for the levels to get to where they are safe for inhabitants?
