    Generator

    Do i really need a mini generator for power outages? If so, how big? Here in Memohis, we had "Hurricane Elvis", a massive windstorm, and power was out for 3 weeks. Would an outage only a couple of hours long affect the tank? And finally, what do i turn off at night? Lights, filters, heaters?

    Culturing live rock and sand

    Hello, im new here so please help me I know that live rock and sand is expensive, and i heard that you can make it by putting live rock with base rock and the critters will move to the base rock. Does this work with sand? What is the ratio of base to live? How long does this take? :?:
