Pretty much having the same problem. Got some fish from Petsmart and now they are all dying. Not going to be buying fish from them anymore.

UGH! Well, my tap water still reads at having between 1 and 2 ppm of Ammonia. I even let it sit out for 24 hours and tested it and it still tested that high. My poor fish.
Anyway, tank is definitely cycled. Fish are all still alive and doing well. Only have a couple that I'm watching to see if...
Think I figured out why I'm not completely getting rid of the ammonia. I forgot it was time to clean the filters. They were definitely mucky. We'll see if that helps any before I try anything else.

Better picture of the white specs....
And the best pic I could get of my very active little corys.
After looking at the link above, they look more like the bronze than the emerald green to me.
Tank as it currently is. I plan on getting something for the back. Just haven't made up my mind on what I'm going to do. Thinking I'll just go for simple and put a black background. I am also thinking about getting some driftwood as well to put in there.
So on further inspection... I'm pretty sure both living platys are female. I think the skinnier one probably had the babies recently. The other hasn't had hers yet.
Sorry for the poor picture quality. They didn't want to stay still for a photo and I made the mistake of feeding the tank (and...
At Petsmart they were just labeled Green Cory but the tag stated they were splendens. I remember that because I was trying to decide between them and the albino corys and was trying to figure out the specifics and had to see what their Latin name was to get that information. I will get more of...
That's what I've been seeing on the barbs. I've just been waiting for the tank to be stable before adding to it.
I didn't realize the gouramis would get violent with each other. I've noticed they haven't been sociable. They usually hang out in different sections of the tank but I just assumed...
I'll take some updated pics once I get all the plants in.
I have finally rehomed the pleco and the pictus catfish. Currently the tank holds:
4 dwarf gouramis
8 zebra danios
2 platys
1 molly
4 green corys
3 tiger barbs
1 horned nerite snail
Tank appears to be cycled. Have had consistent...
I did add my friends old filter media to the tank but she has a much smaller tank so it probably only helped a little. I did discover what was causing the ammonia spikes. My city water has apparently been treated with something because it was showing high ammonia in it. It has started to come...
Honestly, I think it's my eyesight. I can't actually tell the difference between some of the levels on this card. It's kind of driving me batty trying to figure them out. Could also be the lighting. Depending on which light I'm using to look at them (and time of day because daylight also changes...
Well hopefully seeing me take care of my tank will encourage her to do the same.
Again.... I'm sure no one cares at this point but I thought I would again post my test results in case....
No water change again today. I only dosed with Prime and left it at that. Ammonia alert looks yellow. In...
