    Hitchhiking anemone? Is it?

Thanks! I got peppermint shrimp and they took care of them.

I was gone for a week and come home to a funky group of creatures in my tank

They don’t stick to anything like aiptasia does. Thinking they more closely resemble (cladonema sp.)?

Any idea what they are? https://youtu.be/NFVkUOJwPYI

    Crypts potted or planted?

Me personally, I see no problem with the pots. They actually look really cute!

    Mangrove Issue: Black Leaf Tips

I have the same thing happening to my mango plant. It is most likely a bacterial rot in the roots. Quarantine it. I take my mango out and rinse/ scrub it with my fingers. Helps a little. I am also adding plant food to the water while it is quarantined, hopefully it will bounce back and fight...

    Hitchhiking anemone? Is it?

I put some plants in my tank and then these started showing up... found about half a dozen of them. What are they exactly? And will they bother my pipefish and sexy shrimp. Yes they do seem to sting.

Does anyone else get excited when copod life is in abundance?

I did a tank stirrup n’ water change yesterday. Removed two damsels that were heavy nippers so I could switch my tank over to more docile ones. I had a heavy copod population in one corner of my tank, but now they have free reign. They are covering my glass and it’s kinda awesome! Should I get a...

Bristle worm hitched a ride on my aquatic plants

[emoji15]? That’s huge and really freaking cool!

    New 60 cube

Those are nasty bubbles! I would let the tank dry and then reseal it with marine (aquarium) silicon. I know petsmart sells it.

Can my TV stand support a 20 gallon tank?

Lol, you might be right. I used a calculator app I found on google when I was figuring out how much my 20 gallon would weigh. Better to be on the safe side and over estimate the load weight than underestimate and have a mess!

Hermit crab/water param. Suspicion double issue

Did you ever treat the tank with copper or other treatments that could harm them? It could be that if you did, it was sitting in the substrate or rocks and the crabs knocked it up. I have 4 species of hermits in my tank. They are tough little guys, for the most part.

    Snowflake eel in 10g?

Um... snowflake eels get two feet long... that is way too cramped! It will most likely stress the eel into starvation. I have a 20 gallon and have the eel itch too. However I have been looking at getting a golden dwarf eel that only gets to about 10-12 inches... they are expensive and not easy...

Can my TV stand support a 20 gallon tank?

A 20 gallon tank weighs about 100 pounds or so. I would sit on the TV stand, and if it holds you and feels stable. You’re probably safe to put a 20 gallon fish tank on it. That’s at least what I did with my 20 gallon.

    Accidental fish-in cycle.

@libertybelle, it sounds like you are doing the right thing to me. I have never heard of dipping in hydrogen peroxide. But then again I am still learning myself. Always something new to learn with this hobby. With my freshwater plants, I have had great luck with them bouncing from doom by having...

    Deresa clam mantle hole?

I recently read about some shrimp that likes to make large clams like that it’s host... it may take me a while to relocate that article. But this article looked slightly helpful? http://animal-world.com/Aquarium-Coral-Reefs/Tridacnid-Clams-Ailments
