Okay, I did the 50 % water change and added the betta fix. He is a lot more active today. Definitely already see an improvement. Filter no, heater yes.
I had this big guy since November 2016. Lately, he has been hanging out at the bottom of his 3 gal tank. And my son just noticed yesterday that his tail fin looks like it's twisted. He has the tank all to himself, aside from the elephant. Lol I love this big guy and want to keep him happy...
Great to know! I don't see the clutch though.... what happens after all the eggs are released from the clutch? Would it still be intact on the underside of the lid? Or does it fall off into the tank and eventually dissolve?
So my MS had babies in my 10 gal tank. I have 2 neon tetras and 4 platies, 2 ghost shrimps and alge eater. I have read that MS can take over a tank. I also have 2 male betta, 1 in a 3gal and 1 in a 1gal tank. Will any of my other fish eat the baby MS?
I did cycle my tank initially in December before adding any fish. It's a 10 gal tank. And that kind of how I felt with the LFS water testing... a quickie test. I'll grab the Api master kit tomorrow. Not sure about the nitrogen cycle. Will definitely check out the link.
