Well it depends on the house I move into in December. One has a koi pond. Unsure of gallons it holds while the other has a large basement where I've had many people suggest a 500 gallon tank or an above ground pool except in a basement.
Typically when I clean mine I just take it outside give it a thorough rinse with the hose then let it air dry and wipe it down with a warm to hot water and rag. I've never used any chemicals or cleaning agents on my tank, but there could be some out there that are safe for fish but I wouldn't know.
As a college wrestler I'm gonna say DO NOT put a fish in any thing that's been cleaned with bleach. Or for that matter don't let any living organism ingest bleach. Extremely harmful.
I have a spare five gallon tank and I want to start breeding feeders so I can feed my arowana. I have no experience in fish breeding and no experience with feeder fish. Would love some help on the subject before I just go out and buy some.
