Today I found a very skinny clear-ish worm, weaving in and out of a piece of coral. Unfortunately it shot back into the LR before I could get a picture. Any ideas what this might be? bad? good?

Hi Everyone, Hoping you can help me out with this... I just bought a new water filter, a Pure-Flo II RO Unit (makes 24 gallons a day). I *think* the red/blue tubes were mixed up during manufacturing, because my blue tube (the good water) is filling up a 2 gallon bucket in about 5 minutes...

I asked this same question once, and was told that if I buy some extra empty snail shells (5-10cents a shell at the LFS), the hermit crabs will use those, instead of killing a snail :)

Oh no worries!!! That's why I asked :) One day I'll have a bigger tank, so I'll give it a go then. Thanks for the coral suggestions - I might give that a shot!

Hey Everyone, Currently I am using the stock lighting: 48 Watt Compact Fluorescent Lighting 1 - 24w 10,000K Lamp 1 - 24w Actinic 03 LampI would like to one day host a GBT anemone - but wasn't sure if this was adequate lighting for a 14 Gallon Biocube. Suggestions? Thanks :)

I went to the LFS today and picked up a Hydor Koralia Nano Reef Circulation Pump for my 14g biocube. I've tried a few different locations but I'm still not 100% sure where it would be best placed. The best, from what I can tell, is placing it underneath the return pump (on the side glass...

Good idea! Fortunately my little coral came attached to a rock, so it's been easy to keep it in place, but I'll keep that in mind for when I add more coral :)
