Found this growing directly on the white daisy flowered shaped coral. Has a hive like appearance where it is wider at the base and narrower at the top with a hole in the center. Both photos are identical with one a blow-up of the wider shot. Have no clue with this came from and first noticed...

Update E-mails have been sketchy, but I am pleased to report that I finally received a replaced di filter (in housing) this past Friday. Happy to have it but communication was very iffy and process way too long. That said, everyone has a misstep so I'll stick with the company with a watchful eye.

Really high flow? No. There is on 750 hydor and the return from the sump is probably at about 500 gph. Not sure I'd call that really high.
