So my fry are almost 3 months old now.My problem with the algae has calmed down now that I changed how much light hey were getting every day.Anxiously waiting for the summer to end so that I can give my friend his tetras back and add the guppies to main tank .
So I haven't been posting that much info on my little guys lately,so I thought do and update.
All my fry are doing great but there is one problem.They are getting bigger=lots of poop.One of my black tetras died a week or so ago,but I don't think it was because of bad water quality.It was losing...
Well actually my tank is already a bit overstocked as it is but after the summer most of my fish will be going back their original owner and I will be able to add the fry(which will be big enough by then).
I have a problem.In my one gallon my fry are getting bigger.Big enough to produce enough waste that it is visible on the gravel.There are 10 of them and they are all about 1 month old.I was wondering if I could add some to the main tank? They still look small enough to be eaten.
Do the shrimp and snails need anything special like live plants or special food to be added to the tank for them to thrive?
The shrimp need live plants or they will die off in a matter of time.If you are new I suggest java fern or maybe an Anubias or 2.Personally I think java fern is much more...
