I posted a few weeks back about my zoa's closing , since then I moved them to a new larger tank and the all opened again after around a week. Now you can see they appear to be closing down again , any ideas why ? They are driving me insane.

Bought some live rock and had this little hitchhiker on it , any ideas what kind of snail ?

Not dosing calcium and calcium readings are a little lower than normal if anything. Can't see how I chip away at this has happened on 3 different rocks around the tank. Any other ideas or help to curb it would be great I have moved a couple of bits to another tank so hopefully u can rescue...

Hi all Can someone help with this ? Is it coraline ? I don't think it is cyano as it's hard and not like an algae. My problem is that it is grown in and over my zoa's as you can see from pic 3. I read a thread saying that this can happen but how do I stop it ? HELP lee

Yeah you are right it was defiantly the air thing.. The shop did replace him free and no I got a great looking blue spot puffer instead . Thanks for all your help

No it's not attempted to swim to down at all it will swim but always at top.. I think you are right its air.. It is only a small one around an inch and a half don't fancy tryin to wind it I case I do it more damage. If not better tomorrow I will take it back to store. Poor thing.

Yeah she caught it with the net, I called them this afternoon and they told me that this is normal for them to blow up and it could take a couple of hour or a couple of days to deflate. I still don't think its right just floating at top of tank.

Hi, Bought a Bennett sharp nose puffer at lfs today and it blew up when it was caught and put in bag. The shop informed me this was normal, the puffer would deflate. 7 hours later still not deflated and still upside down. It is still alive but only swimming at the top of the tank.. Any ideas ? Lee

Got this live Rock today and it has this green stuff on it. Is it algae ? Good or bad ?

So keep it in sump ? Or better in tank ?
