No I think he was gone from the moment the lump appeared on his lip. Poor female is now very lonely. I'll get another one in a few weeks when I'm sure no other fish have problems. Thanks for the advice.

Thanks for the advice guys but he died about two hours after I posted last night. I'm gutted. He was my favorite fish. I use stress coat for water changes and chucked some in last night as a desperate measure. I'll get some of that artemiss though. :(

So quick update. He isn't looking good at all. Very quiet and sat at the bottom of the tank. I've quarantined him and put in some multi-cure I had in the cupboard. Sad times. Lady-ram looks very lonely.

Awesome. Thanks heaps for the reply. Still 0 ammonia today and 5 nitrate. I'm going to slowly add the remaining fish over the next 48hrs or so and keep a close eye on it.
