I had a Bala shark a few years ago, I highly recommend them! He was my favorite fish, always active, looked cool, and really hardy! Have you checked Craigslist? That's where I got my setup from, piece by piece for super cheap. Good luck

Ok, so 2 additional 800gph would be safe? And I forgot to mention I have a sump with HOB overflow that pumps around 500gph but that mainly just circulates the top of the tank. Thanks!
So this question has been asked before and it seems like a personal preference but every tank is unique and mine seems to not be an exception. So right now i have a 55g FOWLR with a single 1200gph power head. The problem is, i have several "dead spots". I found a package deal to get 2 1300gph...
Tried looking for how to make lava rock safe to put in the tank and couldn't find anything, I was hoping you guys would know how or have experience doing it. I picked up a bunch for free just outside. I can post pictures of the rock of that is important. Thanks for any and all help
I'm not seeing it online at the petco website; I got mine with the overflow box on Craigslist- I'm not sure if there's a store to buy it from but I found it at other online stores for around $10-$15. It's one of the only water pumps I've seen that does it with airline tubing tho, and it pumps...
Sounds pretty logical, I don't see any problems with it. I recommend the aqualifter water pump, I use it on my overflow box and it works great; doesn't push a lot of water but for a small tank it'd be great
