Just wondering - you always hear about them but never anyone getting stung. After pulling an eight-incher 8O out of my 12g nano tonight and putting him to rest, I was looking at his bristles wondering if he stings. I heard that the bright red ones or at least a few other species sting, but...
I just sold my full setup to take a temporary pause in the hobby (with a few nanos to hold me over, of course :) I was thinking of giving a go at perc breeding and a few other types of animals after purchasing 2-4 10 gallon tanks and butting them close together on one stand and doing something...
Actually no... but I was out of town for a week and I got back Sunday and placed the setup on ebay on a local reef club forum. I will let you know how it works out in a week. Thanks!
Phyl - thanks for clearing the discrepancies up.... but does mean that all coral could be classified as LPS or SPS (with the exception of Kenyas, Leathers, and Xenia which are NOT LPS or SPS but soft coral)?
Hey Jason - if a plate and a tube (black and orange sun) is considered an LPS... what is a softie then? Could all coral be classified as an SPS or LPS is what I guess I am asking....
