It's been 24hrs since I begun treatment... He already seems to be doing better out from hiding and swimming around... During treatment I have read you shouldn't feed the fish... Is that true?????

He hides all day and I noticed stringy white feces.. I can't wait any longer.. Hope this treatment works

Believe my jack Dempsey is showing signs o "bloat" I never see him eating anymore and it almost looks like he is getting sunk belly but I'm not certain... Can I treat the tank as a just in case... If so what should I use to treat tank

When I got my jack he was about 1.5 inch too... He would eat non stop... Now he is pushing 4 inch and I feed him once a day

Initially jack would only push him around when it came feeding time and ignored him otherwise.... Now jack stays in his cave all day doesn't even come out to eat and the gourami is always next to him now and sometimes just lays on top of him... Jack has been acting strange for over a month

Is it possible for a jack Dempsey and gourami to be confused and try to mate with one another

I've been having a similar prob with my jack Dempsey... I let the nitrates and ammonia get a little high and he became very spooked.... Not eating nearly as much not sure if he is even eating at all... I am keeping up with water changes now and waiting it out... Good luck

How long does it take for Cichlid pellets medium-sized to dissolve

Maybe electric blue jack Dempsey because they stay a tad smaller...
