But then why is the water fine when i check it? Theyve always been like that and they are only showing problems after the incident.

Do you seem to be overfeeding? Is the beta the only one affected right now? Does the temperature ever drop to 74 or lower?

Have you fed him lately? And if you have what did you feed him? Does he have trouble swimming like falling on one side or sinking to the bottom when he wants to go to the top of the water In the tank? Does he ever seem to be gasping for air?

Is he defeacating normally? So at the moment he isn't bloated? Could you also post a picture of the beta? It would be helpful. Do his scales ever pinecone outwards?

I check my water frequently and its always good. If I knew it wasn't I would obviously be doing water changes.

I dont think water is my problem because my water is always great which is exactly the problem there, why is my water fine but the fish seem sick. As I also mentioned, I have a very good filtration system so that helps to. I dont think my water is the problem. My tank is huge for only 4 small...

I change the water every month and a half with usually half or a little more water taken out.

Now they have red streaks through their tails! I know what that means but I cleaned the tank less than a week ago and I checked ammonia and it’s 0 checked nitrates and that’s at 0. Chlorine is 0 Alkaline is 180-240 PH is 8.2-8.4 Please help!
