    Oh, and sorry - I missed that piece about what chem we used. I can't recall if it was Aquarium Pharmaceuticals Liquid pH Control (pH Down), or Top Fin's formula (pH Decrease)? It was definitely one of those, though.

    Hi, socalsprinter. Yes, I did, in fact, use a quick test strip to check the water after I removed BW....and you're right: it seems the pH is now somewhere between 6.8 and 7.0. But I don't think that would be considered a "crash", would it? If it happened over a few days?
