what is the best way to lower alcalinity? my alkalinity is at about 18-19dKh right now. I have been adding a kent marine superbuffer and its making it spike up.
is it ok to use treated tapwater to top of the tank? I use AmQuel plus it removes nitrate, nitrate ammonia, chlorine and chloramines. Is there anything better to use? any recommendations?
