    Thank you all for the posts it definately helped me a lot w/ adive and figuring out if I should give them a try. I am going to try it, thankfully with the help of my brother who is familar w/ keeping sw however I'm going to wait til I have my own place. I would also love to see pics as well!

    oh and cardinals would be ok however they are really really sensitive fish, and yes corydoras and other little bottom feeders would go as well. Just don't over do it so you don't kill anyone :)

    I'm not sure about the silver fish it could be several things lol if you try cherry barbs I wouldn't do more then 4 just because if you stick with your 20g you don't wanna over crowd

    Definately rehome those kissing gourami's those fish get 6+ inches. Most other gourami species even the dwarfs can get about 3 inches. I would also rehome your goldfish as well.     Your bristlenose will be fine in your 20g they only get about 5in or so so the only problem is is it will just lessen the other amount of other fish you can add is the only thing. Be sure to feed him! Your betta full grown will get to be about 3in or so as well as your corydoras (love them!!)...
