- I have a 64l fish pod. Was an xmas gift and came with filter and heater. We have mainly large substrate but have introduced small substrate areas for the loach to bury himself. We have various plastic plants and a large u-boat ornament as well as a dome wood ornament. Started with 1 Leopard Danio & 6 Zebra Danio. Approx 3weeks after we introduced a Weather Loach from a tank that was in our conservatory. About 4 weeks after the loach we introduced a plec and 2 days ago we added 10 neon tetras! Its a lovely tank with very lovely residents.
I do a water change on a weekly basis. I clean the gravel and just replace what gets siphoned out. It's approx 10%. I feed plec sinking tablet and the rest flake food approx every other day. I do not feed on a set routine and sometimes let them go without food for a couple of days. I test water quality using a Tetra 6in1 test. Ph is 7.6.
