Can mexican turbos get stuck in sand?

I got some pretty large mexican turbos today (full size) and I have a play sand bed in my tank (rookie mistake). I notice they seem to park it when they hit the sand bed. Can they get stuck in the sand?? Can they right themselves?

    Importance of sump/refugium?

its in the hob filter chamber with light over it. I have a diy skimmer on there but I think investing in a larger skimmer would be best. maybe a reef octopus.

    Importance of sump/refugium?

Im curious on the importance of a sump or refugium on my 55 gal. reef tank. I do 10-20% on the same day every week. Is that enough to keep the water in check? Specs: 55 gal soft corals cheapy hob filter chaeto algae 60+ live rock RODI water 2X maxijet 1200 PH

Ive had the linckia in there from the get go and had zero problems. Just have to see how it plays out.

    Can anemone sting Linckia?

yes they (linckia) are quite difficult to keep. Hes looked very healthy and been very active since Ive had him but I understand they have a high mortality rate. Ugh that anemone was nothing but trouble since the start. But now Il just have to keep checking my parameters often. what a bummer!
