Well most of the fishes are breed specially for selling... If you dont buy them and keep in your aquarium, someone else will... besides, most of the pet-store fishes and animals have never seen wild a.k.a freedom... some SW fish does breed only in wild tho... PS zephyr's right! you should chek...

I think it's kinda cruel to take an animal from the wild and put it in a small glass box... besides they might cary a disease

these will reproduce like mad rabbits... they dont need any special care... good thing about them - they eat junk - algae and food leftowers

it is possible that your fish died naturaly but other inhabitants have eaten it... a lot of fish eat dead meat...

its great to hear, that im not an only one who has a nano reef... mine is about 10 gal (33 liters)... most crazy thing is that every one keeps telling me, that its a dumb idea to keep a nano reef and that nothing will ever develop... today I saw a little worm on my live rock for first time...

well... maybe they are some kind of plant spores that have managed to get in your tank by accident... have you tried to remove some to take a closer look? also it could be snail eggs.. but they don't look like dandelion spores

I dont know anything about chillers but some heaters behave the same... If you set the temperature to be at 25*C, sometimes it is lower... sometimes it is higher... it depends how big your tank is, because it will not be the same as manufactures "testing" tank

I had a catfish once... I've bought some live bloodworms to feed my fish.... I couldnt belive my eyes when I saw how fast can this guy eat and swim when these worms are around... It was a MADHOUSE!!!
