I tend to think that it is a problem with either the breeding stock or something strange is happening at the point of origin. I would not be surprised that they all come from one major fish farm in Asia. I wonder if there are such problems with "home breed" gouramis that have been breed outside...

Well, No drama, there are so many other fish available including Gouramis, that not having Dwarfs is not worth the risk or a great loss.:)

Long life Strange I had a pair in my Tank about 15 years ago and they where really happy. They also bred like crazy using the feeder ring on the surface to build their bubble nest. I think they died of old age. This disease must be new. I guess who knows what comes out of those fish...

A treasure I have 5 of them, they simply look great and are easy to care for. Give them plenty of light and they will be happy. They are algae (good kind), strange if you think about that. Have heard they are considered a national treasure in Japan. Totally cool. Marty:fish2::fish1:
