    Wanted: Chaeto macro algae chaetomorpha

Hello fellow reefers lol. I'm in the western PA region smack in the middle of Erie and Pittsburgh and I'm just wondering if anyone near me has any they can spare. I just need a small amount to get my nano refugium started. Sent from my 6045I using Aquarium Advice mobile app

Yep sorry I found that out I just bought some thanks! Every review I saw was 5 stars.

    Chemical filtration

So is carbon not necessary? Cause the canister has mechanical chemical and biological filtration in it.

    Chemical filtration

So I'm do far for a change in my chemical filter in my fluval g3 and I was wondering if I should get just regular carbon or can I use things like purigen or bio chem. I guess I'm trying to gather some intel. I'm fairly new to the whole canister filtration.

    Cycling

And as far as the live sand goes I've heard mixed reviews on that stuff. I've heard a lot of the good bacteria dies off during the time it sits around on shelves. I considered it when I started but I ended up just using cured live rock and I had no issues.

Yeah mollies are brackish so they are both fresh and salt.

If you go fishless you should get some sand from an established tank if you can. Or get some cured live rock that will speed up the process immensely.

I know the one on the right is but is the other one? It's just weird cause it has those white ball tips

Where to buy drilled/reef ready tanks

Haha you must be talking like that.. But I highly recommend that place especially if you do corals... He has the hands down best prices anywhere. I don't know how he does it. And biggest selection. Where do you usually go?

Where to buy drilled/reef ready tanks

Both. He had a I want to say 150 gallon acrylic for sale last time I was there it might have been bigger. I think it's random when he sells equipment so if your planning on going I would call first... The site is slipperyrockcorals.com

    No fish left

I'm at possibly the beginning stages. I got a sixline about a week ago and it died last night and when I was pulling it out I notices there was clear things moving all over it's body. So now I'm concerned for the rest of my tank, not sure what to do next...

Where to buy drilled/reef ready tanks

So how far are you from slippery rock? There's a place there the guy has a few tanks he's done himself but they look nice and his prices are always good on corals, has a huge selection.
