Def do a large water change. If you keep having issues with nitrates reduce your feeding a bit and maybe check your ro water filters

You need to bring your nitrates down. How big is your tank? What's your filtration setup?

Here are some updates. I purchased the innovative marine nano skimmer and it fits into the 8g. I did modify the bracket though as you can see in the pics. You can use it the way it is but it bows the divider a bit so it's better if you cut it. The only issue I had was the nipple for the air...
