    eheim 2213 for 46 gallon tank?

    I'm looking at moving up to a canister filter for my new 46 gallon tank and have settled on an eheim. The 2213 is rated for a 66 gallon tank and only $85 or so. Anyone have experience with this model? Is it enough for a 46g tank? I don't really trust mfg recommendations. Tank is currently...

    New member new tank

    Just saying hi. Recently moved up from the 20 gallon goldfish tank to a 46 gallon so I can have a nice variety of tropicals. I've learned a lot already from everyone's advice (and past mistakes!) here. I predict lots of questions of my own.
